Kylie Simmons Designer at Club Kylie
Meet Kylie Simons, a fashion graduate from North Metropolitan TAFE and the creative force behind Club Kylie.
Kylie’s design philosophy explores the intersection of contrasting forms — where delicate, romantic tradition meets the grit and utility of the street. Her 2025 graduate collection, WED’95, marks the genesis of this vision. Inspired by the nostalgia of her parents’ 1995 nuptials, the collection reimagines the bridal archetype, fusing traditional tailoring with streetwear elements to create a contemporary dialogue around wearability and longevity.
Looking ahead, Kylie envisions Club Kylie as more than just a label — it’s a creative hub. The brand is committed to producing conceptual, sustainable ready-to-wear pieces that embody a romantic soul with an urban edge, while also creating space for multidisciplinary collaboration.
You can meet Kylie at the Autumn Edition Fashion Market at the Perth Town Hall on April 18. She’ll be showcasing her student capsule collection alongside new creative pieces. Club Kylie will also feature in the Designer Collective runway at 1pm during the event.
Let’s get behind our 2025 graduate students and help them grow their passion for fashion.
Daniella Steyn Designer DNLA the Label
Meet Daniella Steyn, 2025 Curtin University Bachelor of Fashion Design graduate and the designer behind @dnlathelabel_
Daniella creates garments born from big feelings — pieces that honour your body, individuality, and the life you live. At DNLA, fashion becomes dreams you can wear, blending high-fashion ready-to-wear with made-to-order designs that feel comfortable, whimsical, and unapologetically you.
Her 2025 graduate collection, METAMORPHIA, explores transformation through the lens of her migrant experience — living between worlds, identities, and versions of the self. Inspired by the life cycle of a butterfly, the collection unfolds across five stages: Egg. Caterpillar. Cocoon. Rupture. Emergence. Each look represents a moment of becoming — from quiet beginnings and survival to breaking open and choosing to bloom in a new place.
This powerful graduate collection has evolved into a new range of sustainable ready-to-wear garments — becoming the first official release under DNLA.
Guided by the ethos “Live with heart. Create with vision,” each piece is crafted with intention to evolve with you. Every garment is handmade in Western Australia using natural fibres and a slow, considered process that offers an alternative to fast fashion while remaining gentle on both your skin and the planet. Thoughtful and multifunctional, Daniella’s designs celebrate individuality and empower self-expression — combining timeless design with eco-conscious practices to create wearable stories made to be treasured and passed down.
You can meet Daniella and shop the ready-to-wear edition of METAMORPHIA at the Autumn Edition Fashion Market at the Perth Town Hall.
And don’t miss seeing the collection come to life on the runway — Daniella’s Metamorphia designs will also feature in the Designer Collective Runway kicking off at 1pm.
